Relatively new here, on Wikipedia, in a deep-dive sense, though I have made edits off and on since 2010.

I am a former associate professor of argumentative writing and introductory writing at the college level. This means that I have taught college students how to understand truth in writing, how to make an argument, how to understand what are good sources for their subject research. I have a terminal degree in creative writing and have completed extensive graduate work on usability, user experience and social informatics. I have worked to create tools for qualitative analyses of social networks, with a focus on truth in social networks. And in the last two years I have worked to understand machine learning methods as used in artificial intelligence to try to create a mobile generative chat solution.

I am currently in the midst of a self-imposed one-year hiatus from social media. Yet I love the collaborative process so have been keeping up with colleagues in other ways.
Self-caveats: I can sometimes be extremely tone deaf. I can sometimes react too quickly. And after years of start-up work, I can sometimes fall into promotional tones. Please ask me for specifics, for examples, references, research. I have them or wouldn't be making a point related to them. Please accept my apologies ahead of time.
My passions: psychological theory, cognitive neuroscience, computational psychology. I also read a lot of world histories for fun.
