Here is the breakdown for you, to make it easier to accuse me of bias.

· I retired from the Army, with multiple combat and non-combat deployments. I've been all over the states, having lived in or visited every state multiple times. The same for most of the EU. I have visited and done deployments to several countries in south and east Asia. Visited a few countries in South America. Way to many deployments to the Middle East.

· Yes crotchety: I have arthritis in every major joint of my body, walk with a cane, and my GAF is very low.

· Politically I am a moderate libertarian and populist. Smaller government, pushed down to the lowest level that can get the job done. Even if I don't like or agree with something, I have no problem with it as long as it does not harm people (other than yourself).

· I have been on the inside of the intelligence community and know it is not the single unified entity that people seem to believe.

· I believe in reasonable firearm control and regulation, to the same extent as I believe anything that poses a danger to the public should be regulated. Shall issue carry permits, states preempted by the federal government on regulations. The federal government already has special license requirements for certain types of firearms.

· I dislike most drugs. Some fine wines and whiskey in very limited quantities, while MJ is good for my PTSD/anxiety. I support ending "The War on Drugs" (massive money sink that has created the largest criminal enterprises in the world) and legalization of drugs. That means they meet FDA regulations, are grown/produced to meet safety requirements, and reasonable taxes are placed on them the same as any other good.

· I do not care what your gender, ethnicity, religion, or creed is. Notice I did not list any of these about myself.
