Geography
[edit]The village lies about 14 km south of Istog. is a settlement divided into neighborhoods with an area of: 348 ha, 11 ares, 72 m.
Medieval cemeteries have been discovered in this settlement. In the place of The tree there were ancient cemeteries and a Catholic church. Skeletons of people have been discovered in Orrnica, between the two rivers Drini. In a field and in a field, coins of Byzantine times were found, then also various ornaments, seals, myhyre, ceramic waste, etc.
Demographics
[edit]Around 1905 there were 40 houses, in 1921- 37 houses with 291 inhabitants, in 1948 - 36 houses with 333 inhabitants, in 1981- 75 houses with 830 inhabitants. At the end of 1998 there were close to 100 houses with 750 Albanian inhabitants. Serbian forces destroyed and burned 62 houses, 3 residents were killed of which 2 martyrs and a young man were massacred. On May 8, 1999, the population was deported to Montenegro and Albania.
