1. History

CDC Malaysia is a private limited company which is 100% owned by Khazanah Nasional Berhad. The company was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 on 30 December 2014 as part of the 12-point Malaysian Airlines System Berhad restructuring plan.

CDC Malaysia was established to become the enabling platform for national talent mobility. It specialises primarily in professional advancement for individuals and also assists organisations with their talent requirements following an expansion or restructuring.

The company began officially registering Malaysia Airlines employees seeking transition support on 1 June 2015.[5][6] CDC Malaysia career advisors worked individually with the former MAS staff and provided customised advice on career opportunities based on their preferences, previous job experience and skills.

After its success with MAS, CDC Malaysia’s clientele has grown to include organisations from the oil and gas, marine engineering and shipping logistics industries.[7]
