Fazaia Medical College
[edit]Fazaia Medical College (FMC) (Urdu: فضائیہ طبی کالج), is a Medical College located in Sector E-9 of Islamabad, Pakistan. It is affiliated with and part of the Air University, Islamabad Campus. The college was inaugurated in 2015 and has since then, grown to become one of the leading medical institutes of the country. It exclusively offers a 5 year MBBS programme to aspiring students. The college rests at the foothills of the scenic Margalla Mountains and has a beautiful campus.

College Building and Campus
[edit]The College hosts 5, spacious and well lit lecture halls, all supported with audio-visual capability, laboratories for each department and separate Girls' and Boys' common rooms. A beautiful view of the Faisal Mosque awaits everyone at the rooftop. The building has a total of 6 floors as well as a basement. There is an elevator as well, which both students and the faculty can use. There is a parking lot for the students and the faculty of the college. The College has its own ground for sports activities. The Campus also has a girl's hostel, which is a 5 minute walk from the College building.
Cafeteria
[edit]Being part of the Air University, the College enjoys the facilities of the University with a well constructed and hygienic cafe. There is a seating capacity of more than 250 students within the cafe but most students prefer to eat in the open and enjoy the scenery on campus. There is a supervisor on duty in the kitchen to ensure that hygienic conditions are being maintained. The cafe has multiple options to choose from; whether you are up for Desi dishes (Biryani, Chicken Quorma, other curries, Samosas and Chaat) or continental cuisine (burgers, sandwiches, chowmein, etc.) and the best part is that everything is available at a very low price. A new 'mini cafe' has also been recently opened up on the main ground serving burgers, sandwiches, fries etc.
Sports
[edit]The Sports department resides on the top of the cafeteria. There is table tennis equipment indoors, badminton, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball equipment for outdoor play with separate places for each sports. There is also a Gymnasium with separate timings for girls and boys.
Auditorium
[edit]There is an auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 500. It is very posh and has ample equipment for any seminars or college events.
Library
[edit]The main highlight of the college is its central library which is very well managed and it is huge. Having automatic sliding doors with a checkpoint to scan our college cards, once through, students enter a world full of books. There is a wide range of books available as well as computers ready at the students' disposal.
Events
[edit]A yearly one-week sports week takes place; with competitions between all the departments of the Air University. There is also an Air Nexus as well as a cultural event each year. Category:Medical College
