ABCmouse.com is an educational early learning subscription site primarily designed for children from 3 to 6 years of age. The site opened in 2010 and is the newest project from the business team behind Neopets, one of the most successful children's sites ever created. ABCmouse touts a "Pull Through" learning system that allows the child to follow their own interests through a free flowing learning process that has six different levels of complexity. ABCmouse.com features activities in the subject areas of math, reading, writing, science, geography, art and music. There are numerous songs, storybooks and games, making it one of the deepest educational sites on the web, for young children. ABCmouse.com lists three principal educators in their curriculum credits: Kim Oliver Burnim (2006 National Teacher of the Year winner), Dr. Rebecca Palacio (co-founder of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards), and David Henry (two time winner of the George Foster Peabody Award).
The company's slogan is "ABCmouse.com - bringing learning to life." The company has publicly stated that their goal is to provide parents with a world class supplemental education resource that is extremely economical. The site is currently in English, though the company is planning on expanding the site around the world in numerous languages.
