Rafa Esparza

Rafa Esparza is an American contemporary artists who primarily focuses on installation,performance, and paintings, and likes to explore theme related to history, personal experience, etc. Esparza is a family man who enjoys working with his family and incorporates his family within his art work. He is best known for working by hand and making each pieces authentic. He has mastered the art of making handmade bricks with adobe in which he learned in his early ages by his father. Esparza work is in many museums/ exhibitions all around Los Angeles,CA.

Early Life

Rafa Esparza was born in Los Angeles, CA specifically in Pasadena, CA, his parents were immigrants from Durango,Mexico. From an early age Rafa Esparza had always been interested in art, he is very anthemic and always wanted to feel comfortable when designing his work.

Work

Esparza has many pieces of work that are displayed in museums, parks, sidewalks, etc all around the world. His artwork gained him massive amounts of attention and recognition from people all around the world. He is such an impressive artists he has earned several awards for his artwork and his wok has been displayed all around on Los Angeles and all around the world . He is known for pieces related to the Mexican American culture which expanded his work. Esparza spends lots of time working in Mexico and Latin America to gain inspiration and to make his art work speak volume.
