User:Hut 8.5/Recall
As an administrator, I am open to recall. This page outlines the process by which I may be recalled.
This process cannot be run multiple times simultaneously.
- A petition on my talk page must be signed by five editors in good standing who agree that I should resign my position as an administrator.
- "Good standing" is defined as follows:
- At least five months' tenure on the English Wikipedia with at least 1000 edits.
- No blocks in the last three months. Blocks later overturned, blocks by me and blocks to test the system (or something else that is not aimed at preventing damage to the encyclopedia) do not count.
- The editor has not been subject to sanctions by the Arbitration Committee, the Wikipedia Community, Jimbo Wales or the Wikimedia Foundation in the last six months.
- I must be satisfied that the editor is acting in good faith, and not simply to further some dispute.
- In order to prevent vexatious litigation, any one editor meeting the above requirements can only endorse one petition under this system.
- "Good standing" is defined as follows:
- If the petition reaches the requirements outlined above, a request for comment on my actions will be filed.
- The RfA will be run exactly like a normal RfA.
- If the closing bureaucrat finds that there is a consensus against me having administrative powers, I will ask a steward to remove my administrative powers.
- If I resign my tools, I will not regain them again by any means other than through RfA. I reserve the right to run for RfA again in the future.
I will honour the process on this page regardless of any other changes to Wikipedia, any other recall system or CAT:AOTR. Any subsequent changes to the requirements on this page will come into effect after one month.
