- Schumacher, G. (1888). "Population list of the Liwa of Akka". Quarterly statement - Palestine Exploration Fund. 20: 169–191.
A population list from about 1887 showed that B'aneh had 620 inhabitants; slightly more Muslims than Greek Catholic Christians.[1]

- 24 B’aneh Bi'ina
- 25 Sajur
- 26 Rameh
- 27 Deir Hanna
- 28 Mughar el Hazzur Zero: El-Muĝar just NE of Deir Hanna, PEF gO. This is mostly a guess based on the proximity to Deir Hanna listed just before it. I suggest that the one on p189 is the El Mughar at PEF Qf (NE of Safed) which would be definitely in the Safed Kada. Huldra: Yeah, I agree. The mixed population in Mughar el Hazzur fits well with Maghar, Israel

- 38 Tuba'un --> Kiryat Tiv'on
Tuba-Zangariyye??-- Zero: Definitely not. Tubaun PEF iL. Huldra: that is Kiryat Tiv'on, then? Zero: Yes. - 39 el Mejdel ?? from Majdal: "al-Majdal, a Palestinian village in Haifa Subdistrict depopulated in 1925, now part of Ramat Yohanan in Israel" -- Zero: It is possibly true (PEF hL) but el Mujeidil PEF iM is closer to Jeida. Huldra: That would be Al-Mujaydil, and I had that at p. 182.....? Also, el Mejdel only have 95 inhabitants, which is far too little for Al-Mujaydil. (see Talk:Ramat Yohanan)
- 40 Jeida --> Ramat Yishai -- PEF iL
- 41 Harithiyeh --> Sha'ar HaAmakim
- 42 Jidru, SWP map 5: Palmer, 1881, p. 110, 1922: p. 33[2] --> Kiryat Yam
- 43 Umm el Amad --> Alonei Abba
- 44 Sha'ab, Israel
- 45 Bethlehem of Galilee
- 46 Kadmun?? large village with 810 Muslims and Christians Zero: This one is a real mystery. I searched high and low. I guess the next question would be: which large villages in this region are otherwise missing? Zerotalk 01:53, 31 August 2017 (UTC)

- 8 Kireh --> Qira, Haifa
- 9 Umm az-Zinat
- 10 Al-Tira, Haifa
- 11 Burj el Kheil --> Khirbat Al-Burj Zero: Yes, definitely. PEF Jk.
- 12 el Kababir (Siyah)?? Kababir?? more probably Kabara, Haifa Zero: No, I think that is too far south. I suggest El Kureibeh (PEF Kh, on straight line from el-Tireh to Yajur). Called el Chrebe on Schumacher's map #34. Also note that "El Kababir" appears in Census 1931 under "Et Tira", p97.
- 13 Al-Sarafand
- 14 El Mizar --> Al-Mazar, Haifa
- 15 Sabbarin
- 16 Khiryet Umm ed Dfuf --> Dalia, Israel?? Zero: I doubt Dalia, neither PEF nor Schumacher #34 confirm. I suggest Umm esh Shuf PEF Kk. Huldra: You mean Umm ash Shauf? Zero: PEF spells it Shûf. This is only a guess. Huldra: Umm ash Shauf is on p. 181. But there was apparently a Umm ed-Dafuf close to Daliyat al-Rawha', I cannot find it on the SWP map, though. Zero: I found it at 1571/2217, map 04ZikhronYaaqov, as "Kh. Um ad Dufuf". Odd that it isn't on earlier maps (guessing that's because it was a bedouin encampment rather than a permanent village). The spellings "Dafuf" and "Dufuf" find it in sources like Avneri's Claim and Benvenisti's Sacred Landscape. Also Census 1931 p97. Huldra: Yeah, found it....and it is just a few hundred meters from Dalia, Israel...Huldra: I've included the data in Daliyat al-Rawha', as the Gazette 1939 tells us that is where it [ie, the people] went. However, the land obviously went to Dalia, Israel.

- 45 Jerakes (Circassians) --> Khirbat al-Sarkas
- 46 Bushnak (Bosniaks) (Caesarea)
- 47 Guwarnet ez Zerka --> Jisr az-Zarqa Zero: Guqarneh was a bedouin tribe and Zerka/Zarka is a river, so this is presumably the tribe members living at the river. Jisr az-Zarqa is of course the bridge over the river. I think this identification is ok.
- 48 Kiryat Ma-mas --> probably not Mas-ha?? Zero: No, it is Ma-mas PEF Jk. On Schumacher map 42 it is shown as "esch Schūne (Miamãs)".
