In Poland, according to the national strategy for cultural development from 2004 to 2013, the added value of the creative industry was 17.3 billion Euros, 5.2% of GDP. With the enactment of the 2005 Act, the field of cinema has made great strides and the Polish Film Institute, a non-governmental organization, has been established.
