The Bait-ur-Rahman is a mosque located in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland. It was formally inaugurated on 8th April 1988 and can accommodate around 500 worshippers.[1]
History
[edit]Prior to the community's acquisition, it was known as the St Vincent Masonic Halls, a grade C listed building, listed in June 1991.[2]
Inauguration
[edit]The building which was converted into a mosque was bought in December of 1984 and was inaugurated by the Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the fourth caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.[3]
