Fifteen Hours is a book written by Mitchel Scanlon. It was published in 2005 by Black Library.

Main Characters

Arvin Larn - A raw recruit from the plannet of Jumael IV
Davir - A small ugly Vardan who has been at Boucheroc for 10 years he is part of the fire-team at Section 1-13. He is a memmber of the 902nd Vardan Rifles.
Bulaven - A large and kindly Vardan, he like Davir, has been in Boucheroc for 10 years. He is a memmber of the 902nd Vardan Rifles. He is in a fire team in Sector 1-13.
Scholar - A kindly and well meaning Vardan. Although his name is only ever referred to as scholar, it is made obvious that this is not his name and he may have once been a genuine Scholar. He is in a fire team in Sector 1-13.
Zeebers - A superstitious and possibly insane guardsman who has only been on Boucheroc for two months. He is in a fire team in Sector 1-13. He is convinced that four is his lucky number, and as he was the fourth member of the fireteam, he thinks he is almost immortal. When Larn arrives it becomes a five man fireteam and Zeebers thinks he has become unlucky.
Sgt. Chelkar - A replacement officer as the original officer was killed during the Vardan drop into Boucheroc. He has a cynical oppinion of the higher officer ranks at Boucheroc. He commands sector 1-13.

The book beggins with an unamed Guardsman laying dating in an unamed location. This Guardsman is later revealed to be the main character Arvin Larn.
