Miniature Train
[edit]Miniature Train is unique in that the park originally bought the ride new from Miniature Train Company in 1955. The park then sold the kiddie ride to a private individual who then sold it to a person who worked for the park's maintenance team. That person rented Miniature Train to the park for Hersheypark Christmas Candylane from 1983-1996. The park purchased the ride once again and installed it in Midway America in 1997. Miniature Train was placed into storage in September 2013.

Following the practice of having something new every year, the Park has disposed of the carrousel, which has brought untold pleasure to thousands of children, and purchased one of the finest merry-go-rounds that has ever been built in this country.
