Hey Hitro,

I am not nominating Green Supplier Limited for deletion, I am just unsure of how to remove that box! Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I have to apologise I am new here :)

Thanks, GA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Greenadvice (talkcontribs) 11:40, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

@Greenadvice:, Hello there, I have moved the article to draft space. Here you can fix the article and when it is ready, you can submit it for review. Your article was deleted because of promotional tone previously. So fix the tone of the article and submit it for review after clicking the submit button. You can check WP:YFA and WP:NPOV for more information. You may also want to see WP:NCORP, this page lists the acceptance criteria for the articles related to companies. Regards. I've done some cleanup on Draft:Agathangjel Çamçe. The editor shouldn't be using facebook as a source, but they may not be entirely familiar with WP:RS. Nonetheless, the subject is a very notable Albanian Orthodox cleric and it's probably better to move it to article space.--Maleschreiber (talk) 00:15, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Jackie Hollywood

[edit]

Hello HitroMilanese! I wanted to tell you that I am very new to this and I have tried to create the article for this girl Jackie Hollywood youtuber / rapper (in principle) the best I could. I have used the biographical structure that Wikipedia normally gives singers of any musical style. I think that the girl already has a certain relevance, in fact when you look for her you already get enough images of her on Google, in addition to the fact that Google's own algorithm already gives us the musical genre that "Hip-hop / Rap" does so which evidently gives us clues that she is a rapper singer. The article created has several good references "in my opinion", but some are from YouTube and Instagram, we must not forget that she is also a youtuber, and besides being a radio interviewer and is dedicated to the world of modeling, the greatest fame he has been getting it now in recent years, given his songs on the channel. The rest of the sources speak of her biography, origin, childhood, career, studies, career in radio and music ... And I also have this page that I do not have in the article but that I think I should add, I would say that it is also good, since it indicates that she has been a model. https://www.modelmayhem.com/JackieHollywood111

Then this is "as a curiosity" I have seen that the guitarist of Escape The Fate TJ Bell has Wikipedia, with his information and such, but the funny thing is that the Wikipedia that he has is in Spanish and also does not have any only source in the article that can credit it "unless I see" TJ Bell is not too famous "in my opinion" although I like him a lot as the current guitarist of the band. But it cannot be denied, that in the Hispanic world it has little relevance, something different is already Anglo-Saxon countries, since being an American it can have more. I'm not saying Jackie Hollywood should have and TJ Bell shouldn't. I just find it curious that Jackie has more sources and possibly more famous since TJ, it costs so much to give the go-ahead in English wikipedia (her native language as well) and with TJ that it is not very relevant in the Hispanic world "it seems be "there was no problem.

I hope you read and respond to me, greetings :)

Paul Polimero (talk) 10:07, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

Clarify one thing, I mean TJ Bell the guitarist. Not the pilot.

@Paul Polimero:, Hello there, thank you for your message. I see that everything has been explained by Dom kraus at the article deletion discussion page. I only want to add that that the articles at Wikipedia are accepted only when the topic satisfies certain guidelines. For Jackie Hollywood, WP:GNG, WP:ENT and WP:MUSICBIO apply. But it did not appear that she is meeting any of those notability guidelines. If you can demonstrate that she meets any of these guidelines then I may withdraw my nomination. Regards. Thank you for reviewing the Work & Co article. Can you clarify how it appears as advertising?

Everything on the page is strictly factual. The sources are reliable and unbiased. The company website was sourced just for it's list of past and current clients.

There is no call-to-action or promotion of the company.

Any advice you can share would be greatly appreciated. This is my first wikipedia entry.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Detectivevondata (talkcontribs) 17:37, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

@Detectivevondat: Hello there, please see WP:NCORP. This page lists the criteria based on which the drafts are accepted or rejected at Wikipedia. The topic of the draft must receive significant coverage in independent and reliable sources. The current sources are not enough to demonstrate notability. Passing mentions, routine coverage or directory listings are not considered noteworthy. Instead of demonstrating notability, the draft only explains about the company's services and their clientele, this is a form of advertisement which is suitable for company's website not for an encyclopedic entry. I noticed that you have resubmitted the draft, I will leave it for another reviewer. Regards. Hitro talk 07:55, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Draft: Sofia Moran

[edit]

Thank you for reviewing the draft of Sofia Moran, Filipina Actress. Since most of any digital references are not available with her over 60 movies, and have actual hard copies from old clippings, there are many Wikipedia articles referencing her as with similar notable actors, actresses on Wikipedia. I believe I am very close to finalizing this article and have the contents to prove her notability status. Kindly assist with content I need to modify or delete, if any, to make this article publishable. Many Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Magdaluyom1 (talkcontribs) 17:48, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

request for guidance

[edit]

It looks like a recent article I submitted was rejected because the sources aren't "reliable."

As i read the instructions, the publications I am listing are legitimate and verifiable publications that cover music and the music business. I am writing a history on the Seattle music scene of the 90s and have access to original copies of these publications, as well as other third party sources that reference these publications (novels, biographies other histories, etc) Can you help me with guidance on other types of sources that would be considered reliable?

Delvechhiomethod (talk) 18:57, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

@Delvechhiomethod:, Hello there, among the presented sources YouTube and the official website of the subject are not reliable. Guitar World is reliable but claims made within the draft are not verifiable. We do not have any clear consensus on the reliability of other sources so we can not deem them reliable. Are there no other online sources? Regards. Hitro talk 06:53, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

@Blosmccoy:, Hello there, I meant "reliable sources" not "notable sources". I've fixed my comment. Article on OVO-TECH - new sources added

[edit]

So, I have added a new, credible link which is not just passing mentions however is in Polish - I am not sure if it is a problem though. Could you please re-verify? :) The article link is: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:OVO-TECH , and the new source which has an in depth article on our company link is: https://echodnia.eu/swietokrzyskie/maszyny-od-malej-firmy-ze-starachowic-kupuje-tysiace-przedsiebiorstw-na-calym-swiecie-ich-produkty-trafiaja-do-setek-milionow/ar/c15-15061950

It is a public publisher and it is not a sponsored article. They decided to do an article on us because we were coming out with new UV disinfection lamps during COVID times, and I think it is the most in-depth article covering our company so far.

New Page Patrol December Newsletter

[edit]

Hello HitroMilanese,

A chart of the 2020 New Page Patrol Queue

Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Rank Username Num reviews Log

9 Hughesdarren (talk) 4,520 Patrol Page Curation
10 Utopes (talk) 3,958 Patrol Page Curation
Reviewer of the Year

John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.

NPP Technical Achievement Award

As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.
