George and Richard are hesitant to share their toys with each other.

It's a sunny day at the playground, and Daddy Pig, Peppa Pig, Suzy Sheep, and Danny Dog are at the round-a-bout, which Daddy spins it and goes fast. As George is too little to go on, he prefers playing on the swing.

Rebecca Rabbit comes with her little brother, Richard Rabbit, to the playground. Rebecca plays along on the roundabout with the others, and Richard wants to go too, but Peppa states that it wouldn't go fast enough if he was on. Rebecca suggests to him that he should play with George, and Mummy Rabbit decides to ask him. Richard doesn't want to, but Mummy Pig tells them both that George has a dinosaur like Richard does, and so they both bring him to George. The two kids are hesitant to be with one another and refuse to share their toys. Eventually Mummy Pig takes Mr. Dinosaur and hands it to Richard, causing George to cry. When Mummy Rabbit takes both dinosaurs and gives them to George, Richard starts crying and eventually George does also. Daddy Pig comes to see what was the crying all about, Peppa and Rebecca come and comment that both of their little brothers cry when they play together. But their mummies give an idea and tells Peppa and Rebecca to teach their younger brother how to play together.

They head to the sand pit to build sand castles. Peppa and Rebecca show George and Richard how to make sand castles together, first fill the buckets with sand, put a tap on it, turn them over, and then they have their sandcastles. Daddy Pig shows them that playing is fun. Things seem to finally go right, that is until George randomly decides to slam Richard's castle and laughs at him selfishly, causing Richard to cry. He soon does the same to George in return, causing him to cry and eventually both are crying once more. Peppa and Rebecca started to argue with each other, blaming each other's younger brother for ruining the sandcastles.

George and Richard finally find a way to play together on the Seesaw.

Daddy Pig then tells the girls that they're here to teach them to play together. Mummy Pig asks George on what his favourite thing to play in the playground is, and he responds with the Seesaw. He goes on, but because he's the only one on the Seesaw, he can't go up. That is when Richard goes on with him. As they chant "Seesaw" with each other as the older kids join in the chant, they realise how fun playing together can be, as the episode ends.

Trivia

[edit]
  • This is the first episode in which Richard Rabbit appears, and the first to have a custom credits theme.
  • Richard is George’s second friend. His first is Mister Skinnylegs.
  • This episode is similar to a Max & Ruby episode, "Max Meets Morris", where both older sisters help their younger brothers to get along and help.
  • George and Richard cry 7 times in this episode, which is quite a lot.

Errors

[edit]
  • George's ears are split when he and Richard cry together.
  • After George and Richard each crush one another’s castle, they were still smiling before crying suddenly, even while looking at the viewers to signal their crying.
  • At the end of the episode, when Peppa and her friends sing, the seesaw is placed between the swing and climbing frame. What should’ve been in the shot are the roundabout and the sandpit.
