George's Birthday is the 26th episode of season 2, and the 78th episode of Peppa Pig.
Synopsis
[edit]Today is George's 2nd birthday, and the Pigs have prepared lots of surprises for him.
Plot
[edit]It's very early in the morning, and George wakes up Peppa by bouncing on her, feeling very eager for his birthday. Peppa is unhappy that George woke her up, but Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig say to her that she did the same thing on her birthday. Peppa then accepts it, and says Happy Birthday to George.
In the mitchen, Mummy and Daddy give George a present, which is revealed to be a purple Dinosaur, which Peppa already learned would have been such a thing. George presses its tummy, and the dinosaur roars, which Mummy Pig believes is too scary. Peppa gives George a card, and tries to make George guess what it is, but he doesn't know. She says she was gonna paint a flower, which George is disappointed about, but instead painted a dinosaur. Daddy Pig supposes it's a lovely picture.
Mummy Pig then goes on a secret trip for George's Birthday treat. Peppa guesses the circus and the cinema, but she is wrong about those options. The treat is really to the museum, but Peppa still wonders why they're there to brgin with.
As the family head inside, Daddy Pig asks George what his favourite thing is in the whole wide world, and of course, he replies with "Dine-saw!". The treat is revealed to be a trip to the Dinosaur Room! George starts running into the rooms feeling all excited until he steps on a spot where a large dinosaur roars at him, giving George a huge scare as he gasps heavily and then whines. Mummy and Daddy clarify that it's not real, and that it's just a robotic. Daddy tries it out again, and then George again, where this time he really enjoys it.
Eventually, all of Peppa and George's friends arrive, and Mummy Rabbit has made a cake, which as what Peppa expects, is a Dinosaur one. George blows the candles out and everybody is ready for the last surprise. Suzy asks Peppa what it could be, which she guesses is sometime to do with Dinosaurs again. Everyone then stops outside and Peppa wonders what it is. Daddy then blows it up and it's revealed to be a Bouncy Castle. However, Peppa is concerned about why it isn't to do with Dinosaurs, that is until the head and tail inflate, which it ends up being a Bouncy Dinosaur!
The episode ends with the children bouncing on the Bouncy Dinosaur and Peppa wishes a Happy Birthday to George again, ending the episode.

Trivia
[edit]- All of the balloons have the age that George turns, 2. Also, this episode was produced in 2006, two years after Peppa Pig premiered.
- Miss Rabbit does have a lot of jobs, but she is not a cake maker. Mummy Rabbit made it instead.
- The Dinosaur Room was updated since The Museum.
