About me[edit]

I am a student at BYU studying English, with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in editing. I enjoy learning about various literary aspects of literature, such as syntax, metaphors, and rhyme. I ask my fellow editors to be patient with me as I continue to grow as a writer and collaborator.

Conflict of interest statement[edit]

I am employed and paid hourly by the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University to edit Wikipedia and am a student employee of Rachel Helps (BYU). I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many of my contributions have involved the Book of Mormon, but I am now moving to non-LDS topics due to WP:COI and WP:NPOV. See the discussion here.

I have taken a class from Kimberly Johnson and am a member of Y-Fiction. As an English major I come to appreciate the literature pages I edit. I seek to be neutral in my writing, but as I've been cited before for not using a neutral wiki voice, it is very well possible that my appreciation of literature will inadvertently come out in my edits. If this ever threatens the integrity of the articles I edit, please send me a polite private message.

"The mind is its own place, and in itself

Can make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n."

~Paradise Lost, Book 1

Communicated, more abundant grows."
