Terence Coyle (born 1925) is an American Realist Painter and Printmaker. He works in oils, watercolors, etchings and lithographs. Born in Williamstown, MA and raised in Rutland, Vermont, he has lived most of his dult life in New York City. His works have been exhibited in museums including The Butler Institute of American Art, The New York State Museum, Albany ; The National Academy of Design; the Museum of Performing Arts; the Billy Rose Theatre Collection Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He collaborated with Robert Beverly Hale, on three books on figure drawing: "Anatomy Lessons From the Great Masters "Master Class in Figure Drawing" Watson-Guptill Publications/Random House. "Albinus on Anatomy," Dover, and Terence Coyle, A Retrospective at 80, Jo-An Books.

He has been an Instructor of e painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York since 1979 and taught Drawing and Anatomy at the National Academy of Design.
