I am a senior studying Physiological Science, with minors in both Neuroscience and Chemistry. I am currently an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Arble's research lab, where we look at metabolism and circadian rhythmicity. I am an author on a recently published article in the American Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, where we discuss possible mechanisms of Bromocriptine and how it acts upon glucose metabolism. Check it out here: https://www.physiology.org/doi/pdf/10.1152/ajpendo.00325.2019! I also work as an Ultrasound Assistant, where I contribute to diagnostic findings for a variety of diseases and conditions. I hope to go to PA school shortly after I graduate, to help patients around the community get the care they deserve.
When I'm not studying, working, or in the lab, I really enjoy traveling to visit new cities in the United States. I have been to every state besides Alaska and Hawaii! I hope to broaden my horizons and explore places outside the country in the upcoming years. My favorite place I've ever visited is by far San Francisco! I loved the people and the environment there. Additionally, I really like going out with friends and trying new restaurants and breweries in Milwaukee.
