Viruses are highly diverse submicroscopic infectious agents that replicate only within the living cells of an organism. They are taxonimized into six realms, ten kingdoms, and various lower taxa by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV).[1] This list only comprises those taxa above family, ranging from realm to suborder.
