[edit]The Oromoid languages are a branch of Lowland East Cushitic languages that includes the most populous Cushitic language, Oromo, and the closely related Konsoid dialect cluster.
- Oromo - The oromo language is one of the most spoken languages in Ethiopia specifically and the whole continent of Africa. The language has more the 30 million speakers and has many different dialects that are listed below.
- Oromo, Eastern Oromo, Borana, Orma, Waata
- Konsoid (Konso–Gidole) - The Konsoid language is a closely related language to oromo but has its own unique attributes.
