Outline of proposed changes

Outline:

  • I will be looking at the section on refugee's in the first article. I believe this section might give the welfare states article a bit more context on how welfare states deal with refugee's. It'll also be interesting to explore if welfare states are limited to "citizens".
  • The second article applies an intersectional lens within the welfare states. I'm interested to learn how race and ethnicity effect welfare states and it's beneficiaries.
  • Lastly, the third article will give me a gendered perspective of the welfare state in the Scandinavian context.
