Cleo Bonny (born on 15 September, in Blantyre Malawi) is the first Malawian and first black person in Africa to become a reading ambassador across the world[1] and supplimentary instructor at University of North West Province South Africa . He is the world fastest speed reader ever existed. Having traveled to 22 countries to promote reading culture, he has been dubbed as reading ambassador by media houses. Cleo Bonny is a non-diplomatic ambassador who only promotes the reading culture in the world . Cleo Bonny has written a book called "the young commentator " the young commentator has sold close to a million copies in over 22 countries. He hid the 100 Rand a South African money note Dr Beyers Naude schools in Soweto South africa[2]. This test had proved that Africans do not read much [3]. He has traveled to South Africa and help South African children and parents to bring the culture of reading to the youths[4]. In 2010 the reading ambassador traveled to botswana to promote the culture of reading though he was disappointed that the government did not allow him to carry out his mission[5].
