for over 10 years Grant P Russell has hosted the RIDE FOR SIGHT BANDATHON fundraising events , bringing live bands together in Toronto for a 12 hour events ,showcasing premier acts in CANADA for a free concert . With thousands and thousands dollars raised , so far, Grant Russell, some say , a famous Canadian musician and philanthropist, contributes most his time to helping others challenged by life's everyday take it for "GRANTED " sight . For example ...........ask a blind kid " what does the colour BLUE look like ? " Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Grant will host the next 2011 ,BANDATHON in June. Born in Montreal,played with piano with Canada's premier musicians recorded on over 50 records ,a few number 1's, Grant believes MUSIC is virus , everybody loves some kind of music . AND to showcase an evening of the some of the finest players with no ego/attitude ,,,,, just to jam and makes a difference
