Golden Age! Eric Edwards

[edit]

Hi GoldenAgeFan1 - Thank you SO much for that great content added to the Midori article. I did my best to save her from deletion! I think we've succeeded. I re-wrote Eric Edwards (actor) last night. What a life that guy has led - his love life was so crazy now wonder he escaped to romantic porn chic. Anyway, feel free to take a look. Maybe you have access to some offline or other sources (love that you had that Village Voice for Midori) to expand/add to it. Thank you! (cc: @The Drover's Wife Missvain (talk) 16:11, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Glad to contribute to the Midori article. You did great job finding refs for her article. I found the Village Voice article on Proquest via the UCLA library. They offer access to some of their library databases even if you aren't a student, staff or alumni. You have to register, though. Proquest has some newspapers, journals and even some full books, which can be helpful for referencing. It has the full book A Taste for Brown Sugar by Mireille Miller-Young, where Midori is interviewed and discussed some (along with other black porn stars). Eric Edwards is definitely deserving of a good article. I plan on adding to his article soon because there are few books (Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Man by Susan Faludi and Adult Movies by Kent Smith, et al.) that discuss him and his career some. Awesome, thanks for following up on Eric Edwards - that's awesome. After I'm doing working on some election-related stuff (I tend to update state representative articles in an election year) I'm going to move back to working on pornography bios. I tried to get access to Porn Journal but the Wikimedian involved in managing that Wikipedia Lbirary subscription said access isn't allowed to it. Boo!! I'll check out the UCLA Proquest stuff. Hello. I removed the PROD tag on Letha Weapons. The article was previously proposed for deletion in 2008 and in 2010. No objection to nominating it at AfD. • Gene93k (talk) 08:53, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just wanted to say that I have a feeling that user is someone who got blocked a few months ago for making similar edits.[1][2] This user also got blocked for sock puppetry. If this is who I think it is, this will be his third account as his original one had been in the summer of 2022.[3] Kcj5062 (talk) 17:19, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
