[edit]Pengus is the son of Jones “Mookar” Penklin (April 8, 1921-March 3, 2023) and Leticia Adams-Penklin (b. July 22, 1922).
Has 2 sons, including Mookie Jr. (B. February 4, 1964) and 2 daughters, with wife Leticia (B July 3, 1943), who he has been married to since 1963.
Penguin died on March 21, 2024 at his home. He had been suffering from failing health which caused him to retire a year prior.
