Games

[edit]

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game): Sonic the Hedgehog's 15th Anniversary game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. This is one of the most anticipated Sonic game ever. Characters new and old, Sonic will embark on a perilous adventure. With three playable characters and storylines, this is one of my personal favorites.

Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit): Sonic the Hedgehog's first appearance. In this game he redefined speed on the Sega Genesis.

Sonic Genesis: a port of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game to the Game Boy Advance.

Sonic CD: Considered the best game on the Sega CD, Sonic has to save his new friend, Amy Rose. He also must face his new foe, Metal Sonic.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (16-bit): Sequel to the astounding original with a new character, new mission, and a little surprise.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3: sequel to Sonic 2. Sonic apparently didn't finish the job. While heading to a mysterious island, they meet a new foe that will cause them a little trouble.

Sonic and Knuckles: part 2 to Sonic 3. Play as Sonic or his foe from Sonic 3, Knuckles.

Sonic Adventure: Sonic's first 3D adventure game. Starring every sonic character as a playable one.

Sonic Advance: Sonic's first debut on the Game Boy Advance.

Sonic Adventure 2: Sonic's 10th anniversary game. Shadow the Hedgehog appears and causes sonic and friends a little trouble. Sonic must find out what he's up to and who he is.

Sonic Advance 2: The sequel to Sonic Advance. Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao both make their debut in this game. Faster and better than Sonic Advance.

Sonic Heroes: Sonic's first game on Xbox and PlayStation 2. Metal Sonic and Shadow return. But Shadow has lost his memory and can't even remember that he and Sonic teamed up to save the world.

Shadow the Hedgehog (video game): Shadow's spin-off title for the series. Not the best gameplay, but you find out the truth about his past.

Sonic Battle: Emerl, an ancient robot of legend meets Sonic and his other friends. But also causes a struggle to control him, but can he control himself?

Sonic Advance 3: Emerl from Sonic Battle returns as Gemerl. Sonic and friends team up with two at a time, a very unique style of gameplay.

Sonic Riders: Sonic racing game with high speed and 3 new characters.

Sonic Rush: Sonic game made special for the Nintendo DS. With Blaze, a new pyrokenitic character from an alternate universe.

Sonic Rivals: Sonic racing game made for the PlayStation Portable. Starring Sonic and every one of his rivals: Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow the Hedgehog, his old and infamous rival Metal Sonic. Let's not forget his new rival that's also in his 15th anniversary game, Silver the Hedgehog.

X-Men: The Official Game: happens between 2 and 3. The X-Men must destroy the remainder of Stryker's dangerous mutant killing machines. Gigasonic

Movies

[edit]

Iron Man (film): The story of rich billionare Tony Stark, as he gets captured by a terrorist group and badly injures his heart. They force him to make weapons or they won't give him medical attention. He secretly makes a suit that allows him to escape, and escape he does, and then becomes the armored crime-fighter Iron Man. The villian will be Mandarin (comics).

The Incredible Hulk (film): The sequel to the not so poular movie Hulk (film). The only confirmed information is that it will be a sequel, more like the comics, and the villian is Abomination (comics).

Ant-Man (film): No, this isn't a parody, it's the stories of Henry Pym and Scott Lang. It will start off with Dr. Pym and then go on to his successor, Scott Lang.

Wolverine (film): a spin-off title of the X-Men series. That's all that is known so far.

The Punisher 2

Magneto (film) Gigasonic

How I got into video games

[edit]

I can remember on my 10th birthday that one of the presents I got was a Game Boy Color. Then the next present I opened was Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. This was the very first game I ever owned. Yes I know it sounds weird how I didn't get one until my 10th birthday. My mom was very strict with what trends I got into. Now I do pretty much anything in the house without permission. I played Game Boy Color games for a while. Then one day I went to a friend's house and I knew that his older brother was a big gamer. So while I was there his older brother was playing Sonic Adventure. I watched him play a couple times and I thought that it was an awesome game. After getting a couple of Pokemon games and a Game Boy Advance, my mom and I picthed in to get a Nintendo Gamecube. I got Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (video game) to go with it. Then my dad bought Super Mario Sunshine for me and my sister. I played that for a while and when I beat Harry Potter I went to Wal-Mart and got Sonic Adventure DX. I then realized after I played it that it was a remake of the first Sonic game I ever saw. Then I got Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. After that another friend of mine told me that another Sonic game was coming out: Sonic Heroes. I got it and after that I got a lot of the other games that are listed above. Then on the Christmas of 2004, some of the presents I got was a Nintendo DS, Spider-Man 2 (video game), and Super Mario 64 DS. Then I was looking around and found another game that was coming out: Shadow the Hedgehog (video game). I got very excited about it. I got it the day it came out. It wasn't as good as I expected, but still pretty good. Then came Sonic Riders and I got that. Then on the birthday, in September 2006, I got an Xbox 360. Then I got the games listed above. I have now just recieved Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game). On Christmas I got some more games (obviously). Then I mysteriously disappeared. Now I'm back, and hyped up for getting a Wii.Gigasonic

Reviews

[edit]

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: This was an interesting movie, ina good way. Now, I expected it to be a sequel to a pretty good movie that would be better than the first and would be the top box office for the week, and, I was right. It was better than the original but not a huge blockbuster. 3 out of 5 stars

Spider-Man 3: This will be difficult to put in words. I personally enjoyed it, but there were a few too many stories behind it to understand and therefore certain people have to deal with 6 yr. old kids asking their parents what's going on every 7 minutes. Still, action was great, glorious moral, and unexpected funny parts. 4 stars out of 5

Ghost Rider (film): This was a really cool mixture of both Johnny Blaze and Daniel Ketch. The characters and incidents were just like the Blaze era, but some of the powers and weapons (except for the bike) were from the Ketch era. They also had a great villian, good acting, and a surprise visit from the Phantom Rider. All they needed was more action. 3.5 stars out of 5

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: This was a great collection of awesome characters and villians. The idea that you could custimize your moves, create a special team, and use real teams in the series. I really like the graphics too. The only tiny complaint I have is that the cheats don't work. I give it a 9.75

I will be reviewing Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game). I personally really enjoyed it. The story was great, the graphics were fairly well, but overall I loved it. I strongly disagree with the low reviews this game has been getting. The only problem I found was that they didn't use the cinema very often. They mainly used the in-game graphics. The best part was the final boss. It had great music and a medium level difficulty. I give it a 9.4.

Average Score: 7.7 (This includes my score) Gigasonic
