Stewart Finlayson (Gibraltar, 23 March 1983) is a Gibraltarian naturalist and historian. He is the Operations and Digital Heritage Manager at the Gibraltar Museum and heads the Gibraltar Museum Caving Unit. His parents are Prof. Clive Finlayson and Dr. Geraldine Finlayson.[1]

Career

Born in Gibraltar to Prof. Clive and Dr. Geraldine, Finlayson followed in his parents footsteps becoming a keen naturalist, historian and photographer. His research interests include the wildlife of the Iberian Peninsula (its birds in particular),[2][3] Al-Andalus, the caves of Gibraltar and heritage conservation. [4]
