Everydevil is a web based Flash cartoon created by Lewis Rhames and Scott Martinez.
Style
This cartoon is created in the style of many of the cartoons in the Adult Swim [1] late-night line-up. It also pays homage to the work of South Park Studios [2]. Each character is hand-drawn and animated entirely in Flash [3] by Lewis Rhames.
Storyline
The storyline follows the life and death of an insurance salesman who is involved in a terrible accident sending him to the depths of Hell where he is enlisted by The Devil himself to make deals with the living for ownership of their souls. The story follows the adventures of Barney and his trials with The Devil, who is also referred to as "The Boss". The Devil has turned Hell into a corporation aptly named "Hellfire Inc." and declared himself "The Boss". Additional characters of noteworthy mention are Phil the Fishmonger and The Devil's secretary.
Actors
The voice of the main character of the series ( Barney Everydevil ) is played by Jimmy Paulson. Jimmy Paulson [4] is also the lead guitarist for "New American Shame"[5], a band from Seattle currently signed with Atlantic Records. He was previously a member of the band known as "The Lemons"[6].
The voice of the Devil and several other characters is played by Scott Martinez, who is also a script writer for the series. Scott has written a book as well entitled "Prayer for the Wild" [7] which is listed for sale on Amazon.com. In addition to writing Scott has also had some experience with films and is listed on Imdb.com [8] for his role as "Student at the Fair" in the movie "Plain Clothes" and his work as a production assistant in the visual effects department of the film "Independence Day".

Public Viewings
On June 6th of 2009 the first 3 episodes of Everydevil were played at the Paperwing Independent Film Festival.[9]. On October 15th of 2009 they were also played at a screening event located in the Carl Cherry Center in Carmel, WA[10] as reported by the Monterey County Weekly.
Online Presence
The Everydevil homepage [11] contains all 3 episodes as well as several clips. There is also a blog on this site [12] updated regularly by the writers of the series written from the perspective of "The Boss". The episodes and clips are also available by searching Youtube and at the Youtube Channel for Barney Everydevil directly.[13]
