Purpose[edit]
The short description is not normally displayed on the desktop version of Wikipedia, but it is identified by the class shortdescription.
This user script adds CSS display rules which cause the short description to be displayed and to adjust the default presentation.
CSS rules are also added to slightly adjust the display of the Short Description Helper.
Use[edit]
This is OK on the different skins:
If you do not see the short description, then refresh the page. If that fails – flush the browser cache.

None.
Installing[edit]
Add the following line to your common.js file.

Alternatives[edit]
The new Evil Vector skin is said to display short descriptions.
