Gardner Goldsmith is an American author and broadcaster, from New Hampshire.[1]

2014 Senate run

[edit]

In 2014 he worked to compete for one of New Hampshire's seats in the United States Senate.[2][3] Goldsmith did not succeed in getting enough signatures to be listed on the ballot, but ran as a write in candidate. Goldsmith ran as a Libertarian. Political analyst David Paleologos described Goldsmith as a spoiler, who ensured that Republican Scott Brown did not win.
