[edit]The top tier in the United States is Major League Soccer. Under that would be the United Soccer Leagues First and Second divisions. The USL Second Division is the lowest level of professional soccer in the United States. Starting at level 4, the leagues become regional. The USL Premier Development League is made of teams in various regional divisions (grouped into 4 regional conferences) across the contiguous United States, the National Premier Soccer League has five regional conferences of teams from all over the United States, and the Pacific Coast Soccer League includes teams from Washington state (and had previously included teams in Oregon). The United States Adult Soccer Association is made of numerous regional soccer leagues and is the lowest level of the pyramid.

USL-1, USL-2, and USL-PDL are run by the USL though the PDL does follow USASA rules.
Is the PCSL even recognized by the USSF? Or is it under the aegis of the Canadian Association?
The CSL and MSSL are USASA Region I regional leagues and their placement directly under the PDL and NPSL are not meant to imply any connection between the two, I just don't know how to format it any differently. However the NPSL does follow USASA rules and is technically part of the USASA as a National League (though tecnically the PDL is also a "USASA National League") but is of an independent structure outside of the 4 Regions and 55 State Associations of the rest of the USASA.
Similarily, the State Associations are not connected to the PCSL, but are also under the Aegis of the USASA.
