Cuban Pastelito

[edit]

A Cuban pastelito is a type of filled puff pastry which is popular in both Cuba and Miami.[1] Pasteles with more savory fillings, including meats and vegetables, are popular elsewhere in the Caribbean[2]. However, the traditional fillings of cream cheese and guava are traditionally Cuban.[1] However, other fillings of specifically Cuban pastelitos include coconut and ground beef.[3]

The Environmental Communication Division

The Environmental Communication Division, a part of the National Communication Association, is a networking group for those sharing a curiosity regarding environmental communication. While broadly concerned with this topic, they can be concerned with inquiry into topics such as environmental journalism and environmental studies, even more specifically communication-related topics like studying green marketing, an example of the relation between a product's perceived environmental impact and consumer choices.
