I make edits as I see fit to uphold the reliability and consistency of information on Wikipedia. That said, some of my edits may be controversial, and I will use my user page to catalog references supporting my changes.

For the gender of individuals who presented in a way not aligned with their assigned sex:

The Wikipedia Manual of Style advises that editors "Give precedence to self-designation as reported in the most up-to-date reliable sources, even when it doesn't match what's most common in reliable sources."[1] Therefore, if an individual lived as a certain gender, and their most recent self-designation was as that gender, they should be referred to as that gender through the article, regardless of their assigned sex.

I may frequently change terminology surrounding these individuals, other than just pronouns. If their body is in question, I prefer to use the term "assigned sex" or "anatomically [gender]" as these are brief and likely to be well-understood by a large portion of readers without additional explanation.
