William Rowland (April 28, 1828–July 30, 1911) was a 19th-century American master shipjoiner. Known for the exceptional quality of his work, Rowland designed and built the interiors of scores of American steamships and steamboats over the course of a career spanning more than fifty years. He has been described as the Lorenzo Ghiberti of his trade.
