The following two tables list record-breaking and noted fast passages achieved by Hurricane, while the final table is a summary of the four New York–to–San Francisco voyages made by the ship.[a]

Captain Samuel Very Jr. was commander of Hurricane for all the voyages listed below, with the exception of the last New York–to–San Francisco voyage, which was captained by Ichabod Sherman.
