First Nations Seeker[1] is a directory that provides access to the websites ofFirst Nation and Native American communities across North America.[2] It is indexed with source maps of traditional territories and provides a unique perspective on the linguistic patterns of North America tribal groups. In addition, First Nations Seeker puts forth an original complete continental map of Native American territories. In essence, the website is a re-creation of North America as it was at the time of First Contact. This hobby project commenced in 2005 and is ongoing through the feedback of Native Americans, exploration, and sleuthing.[3]
