Davydovo (Russian: Давы́дово) is a village in Orekhovo-Zuyevsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located some 78 kilometres (48 mi) south-east of Moscow and 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Orekhovo-Zuyevo. Municipally, the village is a administrative center of Davydovo Rural Settlement. Population: 11,840 (1997), 12,000 (2004). Postal code: 142641.
Davydovo was first mentioned in 1631.
The village of Davydovo concerns to a part of the historical area of Zakhod included by the majority of historians in Guslitsa [1]. The overwhelming majority of the population of village were Old Believers. An Old Believers' (Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church) Feast of the Cross church is located in Davydovo.
In Davydovo some enterprises are located. Most known of them — a factory on manufacture of automobile tires Michelin.
