|ShortSummary = After Buckells is interviewed by AC-12 and charged, Wise informs Hastings that she intends to merge AC-12 with AC-3 and AC-9 and then reducing the staff by 90% and that he should take retirement to avoid further disciplinary action. One of the betting shop robbers is interviewed by Lomax and Fleming, as they attempt to gather more information about the firearm used to murder Vella. Further forensic analysis at Jatri's home is completed, while Davidson watches from a distance before sending another message through a laptop to the unknown recipient, stating, "I'm finished". Arnott meets DI Nicola Rogerson about his potential transfer to her unit, and asks her to hold off. He deletes several emails from Occupational Health requesting he see them about his drug test results. Arnott recognises the voice of jailed solicitor, Jimmy Lakewell on a recording obtained from Vella's office. Davidson tells Pilkington of her plans to complete his commendation and then release him from her team. Arnott and Bishop attempt to interview Lakewell in prison, but he is reluctant to talk around the prison guards. Arnott and Bishop plan to move Lakewell into AC-12 custody securely, but the OCG have been tipped off, and ambush the convoy. In a shootout, PS Ruby Jones is killed by a sniper, whom Arnott then shoots with his handgun. Pilkington holds Davidson at gunpoint outside her home, and tells her that she will not be removing him from her team. Lakewell refuses to talk, although he exchanges a knowing glance with Arnott. Back in his prison cell, Lakewell is murdered by Lee Banks, an OCG hitman, as Buckells watches. Forensic results from Jatri's house reveal Davidson's fingerprints and a DNA match to someone related to her.
