BIO

[edit]

I currently live in Washington and just graduated this year.I moved from California about 9 years ago. When I first came here I did not like washington because it was alway gloomy and cold. Also I had to start a new school where I did not know anyone. But later on I made new friend and ended like washington more than California. I am the oldest out of all my siblings. On my free time I just try to catch up on homework while listening to music. My favorite color is red and black and I don't like insects. One of my hobbies is eating and sleeping.I'm currently studying and hope to get my associate degree.

I'm interested on working on people and self portal because that seems more interesting to me out of the other categories wikipedia has.I also think that there are many people that wikipedia should have.Another category I see myself working on is society and social science portal because the world is constantly changing and new ideas or beliefs start to show up.Also we are becoming more open minded and that can affect society.I would also want to work on some of the rest of the other categories to know more about them and to see if I like them and consider working on them afterwards.

Article evaluation

[edit]

Since I was in elementary school I would always listen to the radio. One day I heard "Stand by Me" by Prince Royce and I loved that song instantly. That's when I started listening to Latin pop and Bachata. I would like it if there was more information about Latin music in general, but for now I will focus on Latin pop. With that I visited the Prince Royce page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: adding more citation, keep up to date, and it's neutral.

Adding more Citation

[edit]

While I was reading Prince Royce page on Wikipedia I noticed that there were some citations throughout the paragraph. Then I re-read it carefully and made some observations that in the first paragraph there were no citations to indicate if what was being said was reliable. It's good that some information are cited but I think the Wikipedia community could improve on this a little bit more. Overall it was well done and you could tell that the wikipedia community took time to edit this page.

Keep up to date

[edit]

I like how there is a career information that tells you how Royce started his music journey. Although they have information from when he started I think that there are more events that could be added since we are in 2019. I know that Royce has came out with more albums that could be included in his page. I also noticed that upcoming project could be added to his page.

Neutral

[edit]

Throughout the article I felt that everything was smooth and calm. I also like how its in a 3rd person point of view, which is common in the Wikipedia community. Another thing I notice was how there were no bias opinions and the pages did not sound like it was made from a fan. It was formal and professionally done by the wikipedia community.
