Hello, my name is Kevin Young and I am a biology professor in south Texas. My username comes from the fact I studied Flat-tailed Horned Lizards for my disseration. I have been a fan of Wikipedia since it came into existence, but not a real contributor. When Wikibooks came out I created a Human Physiology textbook with my students, and followed with a Science book for elementary education majors. On those project I DID make a lot of contributions, but I need to get back to caring for them.
I am hoping to be a bit active on Wikipedia by helping with the IOTA (technology) page. Outside of my various biology classes and IOTA, another big passion of mine is permaculture.
