Free Anonymous Internet Φ (FAI) is a decentralized peer-to-peer, open source[1] content sharing system. It is based on blockchain technology[2]. It is a "deep web" alike service[3]. You may publish and browse any content on Φ anonymously. Once content is published, the only way to modify or to delete the content is by 51% attack, which is extremely difficult and costly[4]. Φ may bring ultimate freedom of speech and anonymity.
Functions
[edit]
Publish
[edit]Publishing contents on Φ does not need any registration as you normally do with a centralized website or mobile app. Contents are uncensored. No one can delete or modify (including the publisher) once the content is confirmed by Φ network[5].
Browse
[edit]All information on Φ blockchain is public to every Φ browser. To browse on Φ, you will not leave any trace on what information you’ve browsed because every peer has a full copy of the whole block chain.
Encrypted chat
[edit]The messenger provided by Φ encrypts all messages between sender and receiver. Since the message is relayed by the Φ network, there’s no direct connection between sender and receiver. Meanwhile, similar to publishing contents, to send or receive message on Φ system doesn’t require registration, so Φ messenger keeps the highest possible anonymity.
Shop
[edit]Φ shop is the first one in history that carries the information flow and cash flow in the same system. With the same Φ account, you may publish any product, receive order, and even receive payment in real time.[6]
Domain
[edit]Φ domain is similar to ICANN domains, but without any central registrar. Φ domains ends with extension “.f” or “.fai”. Φ domain has more freedom and flexibility: it can be redirected to a Φ ID, a Φ link or even a normal http link.

Purpose
[edit]Φ intend to bring ultimate freedom of speech and anonymity.[7]
Design
[edit]Principle
[edit]Φ is based on Bitcoin blockchain technology. With the invention of Proof-of-Work by Satoshi Nakamoto, peer-to-peer network solved the data uniqueness problem. A blockchain network normally shares the same unique blockchain database[8]. A serverless website can be built base on Φ.[9]
Encrypted chat
[edit]The sender of a message use his/her private-key and receiver’s public-key to generate a shared-key and encrypt the message with AES algorithm; the receiver use his/her private-key and sender’s public-key to generate the same shared-key and decrypt the message symmetrically.[10]
Domain
[edit]Provided that each Φ peer owns the same unique copy of blockchain database, and the each block is sequenced by time, Φ offers a new decentralized domain registration system. Φ domain is offered in a first-come, first-served rule. There’s no registration fee for Φ domain. To register Φ domain, the register only need to sign a standard Φ transaction agreeing to freeze certain amount of Φ coin. The length of the ownership is the Φ coin frozen time. Owner may extend the ownership. Once the frozen time passed without a new domain extension transaction, the domain is open for new registration.[11]
