Total Unicorn new article content ... Total Unicorn is a multi-disciplinary performance group from Austin, TX. It's members include Lyman Hardy III (composer), Stephen Hal Fishman (filmmaker, writer) and Lindsey Ann Taylor (choreographer, dancer). Originally conceived as a solo ambient/electro side project for Hardy in 2010 (a drummer for Austin bands Pong and Ed Hall), Fishman soon joined the effort (that same year) after a successful collaboration with Hardy on a short film. Taylor joined in 2011 after having integrated her dance troupe, Little Stolen Moments, into a few numbers. Eventually, Taylor developed choreography for every number and became a permanent part of the group later that year. Little Stolen Moments (Taylor, Stanley Roy Williamson, and Nicole Whiteside) no longer perform with Total Unicorn. Total Unicorn's live shows are dense with visual information and kinetic movement. Each musical number is accompanied by a a series of projected animations produced by Fishman, which tell a story
