Junior Knight is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Micah Balfour. Junior was introduced by the show's executive producer Chris Clenshaw in episode 6908, first broadcast on 13 May 2024. He is introduced alongside his wife Monique Knight (Busayo Ige) and his son Xavier Knight (Chase Dean-Williams), as the son of established character George Knight (Colin Salmon). Since his introduction, his storylines have included: his troubled relationship with his father due to George being absence during his childhood; a one-night stand with Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) which results in the end of his marriage to Monique when she finds out; bonding with his half-sisters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford); an affair with George's ex-wife and his sisters' mother Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), despite her relationship with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and developing feelings for her; feuding with his neighbours due to his stake in the restructuring of Bridge Street Market; and being a suspect in the Who Attacked Cindy? storyline.

The character had been referenced off-screen numerous times before his introduction. Since his first appearance, the character has been portrayed as adulterous and sneaky, with Balfour describing Junior as "a complex man."[1] Prior to the character's introduction, Clenshaw teased that Junior "would be thrust into the heart of the drama" and that there would be "more to Junior than meets the eye."[1]
