Rifat Alkhatib (also known as Rifat Elkhatib) was a remarkable individual who lived from 1945 to May 26th, 2020. Hailing from Amman, Jordan, he pursued a career as an accountant in Kuwait after graduating from Damascus University in Syria. Throughout his life, Rifat Alkhatib had a total of nine children consisting of eight boys and one girl, ( Ghaida, Firas, Amer, Fateh, Muhammad,Tariq, Ammar, Moaz, Yousef). He entered into two marriages during his lifetime, his first wife name was Zabia Rihawi, the second wife name was Nada Ghannam. and his father's name was AbdelFattah Alkhatib.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Rifat Alkhatib was known for his philanthropic contributions. Here are a few notable examples of his charitable works:


Mosque Construction in Bangladesh:

Rifat Alkhatib played a significant role in the construction of a mosque in Bangladesh. His generous contributions facilitated the realization of this project, benefiting the local community.

Abdel Fattah Quran Center:

Recognizing the importance of promoting Quranic education, Rifat Alkhatib generously donated a plot of land in Amman to establish a center dedicated to teaching the Quran. This center was named the Abdel Fattah Center in honor of his father.

Posthumous Charitable Donation:

Displaying his selflessness even after his passing, Rifat Alkhatib requested that 10% of his wealth be allocated to charitable causes. Following his wishes, his family donated the designated funds, in the form of land, to the Ministry Of Awqaf And Islamic Affairs in Jordan. The purpose of this donation is to construct a mosque on the donated land, serving as a testament to Rifat Alkhatib's commitment to philanthropy.
