About me
[edit]I have been a lurker obsessed with Wikipedia for many years, and only recently got an account, which will probably make me more obsessed. I am interested in copy-editing, cleanup and proofreading, because that is easier than actually finding and verifying sources and doing actual work. I also edit Uncyclopedia with a different username, and am considered fairly active over there (Shhh, don't tell them I'm here). Despite this, I can only come up with funny things after long, careful, and long thinking, so I am usually very humourless during discussions. Uncyclopedia has taught me to not take things seriously, and to be very anal retentive when it comes to things like tone and wording. I find that, for some perverted reason, I have the most fun correcting another user's prose. I might contribute actual content, but it would feel like I'm doing research for a university paper. So no thank you, I've had enough of that in real life.
