My name is Ewan Jones; I work as editor in the Information and Transparency department of Frontex, the EU border control agency. I have been given the task of updating Frontex’s Wikipedia entry, which unfortunately is out of date and incomplete (the entry is at: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Frontex). I would be grateful for advice on the best way to proceed to ensure transparency and accuracy. Am I able to edit the entry myself as a Frontex employee or should I address the issue to an independent Wikipedia editor? If the latter, what is the quickest and best way to proceed (I am new to Wikipedia editing but have read the “Best Practice Guidance for Public Relations Professionals” prepared by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations). Frontex’s main concerns are as follows.
1) The logo displayed is no longer accurate as Frontex changed its logo in March 2012. The new logo is available on the agency’s new website (www.frontex.europa.eu) or I can provide a higher-resolution image. 2) Frontex’s legal mandate was amended in November 2011 giving the agency new powers and responsibilities; this fact is not included in the current entry. 3) Many of the agency’s functions are either omitted or misleadingly represented. The new Frontex website contains much more information than the old one, but I’m not sure if Wikipedia considers such sources verifiable/unbiased.

In line with the response, I have tried to introduce a first edit (the new logo) through the Frontex: Talk page but without response. I shall try to contact the original creator of the entry and also address Wikipedia through the relevant noticeboards.
