Because of lack of space, the tuitions were spread among different buildings around Bergen. Campus Kronstad is located at the former railway workshop belonging to railway company NSB. Many parts of the old building were preserved and are now to be seen at the campus building. The new buildings' size is 51.000 square meter. Around 200 employees and students holds in Møllendalsveien, another building that the Western Norway University College of Applied Sciences is renting. At campus Kronstad there will in 2020 be a new building, K2, located right next to the 2014 building. Bergen University College also included a school for professional diving, which is located in Slålevikveien in Loddefjord, in addition to studies in underwater technology at Straume, Sotra, in Florø and in Kristiansund. Both of these study programs are today still a part of HVL. [2]
