[edit]William Anderson
[edit]i thought wikipedia was the ultimately democratic encyclopedia, where my information can exist (As long as it's true) freely and without fear of editorial decisions by people like you. i petition that you replace my name on the list of william andersons immdediately and without further harrassment. the information is incontestably true, and seeing as I am myself, I believe I should be allowed to modify the information at my whim, without the interference of nosy persons such as yourself.
and according to wikipedias definition of vandalism, my good-natured addition of my information is not considered vandalism. Thank you.

"people like you"
[edit]You're some sort of informational vigilante, good sir. A rogue, someone who takes it upon his/herself to decide which information is notable and which is not. Let the democratic nature of Wikipedia take it's course, and if a majority of people deem my information not notable, my entry will be submitted to the most appropriate course of action; it will be ignored. If I am less notable than entries like the one for "Candy Corn", "Oklahoma State Highway 9", or "Elkington", (an entry for which there isn't even any informational content submitted), then good heavens, I have no case at all.
But, my information is notable. For the people who search for country singer Bill Anderson, with whom I share my name, or Bloody Bill Anderson, the notorious Confederate officer, they are often astounded to see a lengthy list of Bill or William Andersons. I'm a student, an indisputably worthy and admirable profession, as well as a bookseller and a guitarist. These tidbits are valuable to various groups of people. It may not be valuable to you, and I understand that. I do not by any means insist that you recognize me as someone that you, personally, ought to be familiar with. But in the name of democracy, and in the name of Wikipedia, please allow me my place in the hall of other William Andersons.

notability
[edit]The following quote preceeds Wikipedias notability guidelines;
"This guideline is not Wikipedia policy (and indeed the whole concept of notability is contentious)"
Even Wikipedia agrees that the concept of notability is relative. Some people don't give a second thought about Oklahoma Highway 9. Some do. Most people don't give a second thought about William Anderson (Student) but some do. That is not for any one person to judge.

Donnacha
[edit]Thanks for your kind way of saying this. I mean this sincerely. One page I put this on was a mistake. I apologize for the error. (the main talk page, that is.) Donnacha DeLong is going after other editors, harassing them, speaking rudely to them, and getting them blocked because they have a differing point of view then he does. He is not being honest about the fact that he is a journalist and is indeed hiding this from Wikipedians and from his employers. Something needs to be done about this. Will you help me? 220.68.74.149 00:49, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

He and The User:The Ungovernable Force and User:AaronS are harassing other editors at Anarchism, like Hogeye and DTC, etc, anyone who gets in there way. They are putting phony warnings on Hogeye's page and harassing him until he finally gets angry and calls them a name. Then they go to WP:ANI and complain that he called them a name. The harrassment is really ugly. They accuse almost everyone that edits anarchism of being a sockpuppet or they just insult them an patronize. Something seriously needs to be done about this. Can you please help with this? The admins won't listen to me, but someone should. 220.68.74.149 00:59, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I can't do that because they won't let me. I was indef banned and in a way that was totally without process and obviously politically motivated. They have spread slanderous lies about me, which will remain on the internet forever. It's a long story but I really need some help. Are you an admin? 220.68.74.149 01:08, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, anyway, for talking to me. I need more than a sympathetic ear, though. I need some actual help with this. But I understand if you're too busy. 220.68.74.149 01:16, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
