Will Henry Bennett (né Henry William Benjamin Bennett, Jr.; born 6 September 1907 Charleston, South Carolina – died 20 March 1980 Houston, Texas) was an American music educator at the collegiate level widely known as the director of the Prairie View Co-eds, an all-female collegiate swing band that flourished regionally and nationally in the 1940s.[1]

Career

After serving as director of music at Prairie View A&M College, Bennett, around 1949, became director of bands at Liberty Training School, in Liberty, Texas.
